Hi @charlyad

Thanks for coming here.

Of course, our store team will be more than happy to help you move your contract to pay as you go.

Katie 🙂

@charlyad : You would need to give 30 days notice to cancel your contract & have it moved to PAYG. I doubt you can do this in store but would have to phone CS.

If you are still within your min term you will be liable to pay Early Termination Fees for the rest of the term. They will basically be months left x monthly charge - 4%.

Hi Katie

I phoned Braintree EE store and they told me the System does not give them the facility to switch accounts to PAYG.

Is this the case for ALL stores, or do larger ones, such as Chelmsford have the facility?

OR

Do Braintree  just need Training?

Cheers

1. I can cancel the contract AND switch if I pay the moths rental.

2. Do you work for EE?

3 Which contract condition are you quoting?

4 I have been told by TWO EE employees the Branches should be able to do this

Why the need to go into a store though? Calling would be the quickest & easiest way to get the transfer arranged

I suspect the pushback from the stores is likely because they won't get anything for a sale from them so are saying that to avoid it

  1. Yes, but you would need to pay the rest of your min. term. If that's only 1 month, fine.
  2. No, I am a user like you.
  3. What you need to know if you want to leave EE > Cancelling your EE Mobile contract:

If you're not switching to another provider, you can request a standard disconnection by getting in touch with us.

You'll be required to provide at least 30 days notice, even if the minimum term of your contract has ended, during which time we'll continue to provide you with our service.

At the end of the notice period, we'll terminate your number and stop billing you. You'll be charged for our service for the 30 days from the date of your cancellation request and this charge will show on your final bill as the Remaining Contract Charge.

  4. No suggestion of contacting EE by going to a store, only call or write.
