I’ve just received a new sim which I have inserted into my device and received a text saying my allowance would start once I call or text with it. Tried doing both and still nothing as of yet. Do I just have to wait for it to start ?

Probably. What does texting AL to 150 from your no. fully report verbatim (it is free)?

Says my balance is 0. I’ve already paid £10 and they sent a sim out which I’ve put into my phone and I’m still sat with no calls or texts when I should have 500mins and unlimited texts. Dunno why it says it would start soon as I try call or text when I’ve done both a few times now

If you are able to make calls and send texts this would indicate the allowance has started.
Are you able to log into the EE app to check the allowance remaining?
