Pay-as-you-go pack but no credit to make calls

I’m having the same issue. I ported my number from Three to EE and bought a pay-as-you-go SIM that should include 500 minutes and 8GB of data (as confirmed by the activation message). However, it now says I have no credit to make calls, I can’t receive verification codes, but I can text 150 normally.

Were you able to get this resolved?

All new PAYG SIMs need an initial topup applying before they are fully registered, have you done this?

@moharira : Where did you buy your PAYG SIM & how much did you pay for it?

What does texting AL to 150 from your no. fully report verbatim (it is free)?

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

When you first insert the sim card for the first time ever you dont know about this and it isn't even written anywhere. After trying all sorts of different things and wondering why it doesn't work, you try to buy a bundle and it gets rejected until you eventually top up first, even then it gets rejected. Calling customer services you to listen to a lot of blabbering recorded on a machine,  waiting in the queue,  wasting time, nahh, just want something that works out of the box like all the other networks.

This is the worst service ee provides and that's the reason I left it and will never come back!
