What’s the difference between a pack and a addon??

Oh I know what the difference is, you can’t buy a addon using EE’s useless app.

@ukoldgit :

  • Pack: A bundle of allowances of a mixture of mobile services, call mins, text & data. They expire after 30 days but they auto renew when you have sufficient PAYG credit. To buy 1 text ALL PACKS to 150.
  • Add-on: An allowances of a single  mobile service, call mins, text or data. They last 7 or 30 days & do not renew. To buy 1 text ADD ON to 150.

So why can’t I buy an addon through the app??

Hi @ukoldgit.

Welcome to the Community!

What's happening when you try to look at add-ons in the app?

It's worth giving this through the browser version of your account too, as this may give you the option 😊

Peter

Nothing happens, the only thing you can choose is a pack.

Thanks @ukoldgit

can you try heading to add-on.ee.co.uk?

You can also check available add-ons via our text service by sending us a message with ADD ON to 150.

Peter

Yes this works and I've had to use this method of turning Wi-Fi off and data on in the past but it completely defeats the point of having the app on the phone or iPad.

Either get the app to work properly as it sometimes does or completely remove any mention of addons.

Thanks.
