PAYG Phone number given over on Instagram - Scam/Hacker?!

Afternoon all,

My phone number was requested on Instagram and without thinking I sent it over. It only occurred to me a couple of minutes after that I may have made a huge mistake in doing so. What can they do with my PAYG mobile number? Scam/Hack?

Any advice on what I should and shouldn't do now?

Any response appreciated.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.
