Hi,
I had to travel abroad for a while and due to inactivity on my SIM, EE told me my account had been deactivated. I tried to ask to reactivate it but they couldn't help on this matter and asked me to get a new SIM card.
I would appreciate if I could at least get a PAC number for porting and retain my old number.
Thanks in advance,
Cesar

You've either been misadvised, or there's more to this. There's no direct account access on this forum, but general advice can certainly be offered.
PAYG lines require chargeable usage to be incurred at least once every 179 days to avoid them being hibernated. Once they are hibernated, you have a further ~90days to reactivate, after which the line is permanently disconnected and thus the number is no longer yours. The policy is explained at https://community.ee.co.uk/t5/Pay-as-you-go/What-is-pay-as-you-go-and-flex-hibernation-and-how-do-I-...
Thus... if you're between the 179-273 day mark, then CS can and should reactivate your line. If you've passed 274 days, it's too late and you have no number to request a PAC for. So everything depends on exactly how long "a while" is...
