Iphone 5 PAYG - Fully topped up, latest iOS update successful. Nearly 5G space available. Can connect to Wifi and internet via wifi, but no mobile data/calls and mobile update says error.

I've done anything aside from factory reset, any advice?

@KayDoubleU : What does texting AL to 150 from your no. fully report verbatim (it is free)?

@KayDoubleU   The last iOS update for the iPhone 5 was 10.3.4 and that was released 22 July 2019

If you just had a iOS update you don’t have a iPhone 5 you have something else.  The only device that looks like the iPhone 5 is the original iPhone SE as that got an update recently to iOS 15.7.4.

Sound like you have a corrupt install of iOS and a factory restore should resolve this issue.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Have you tried backing up your iPhone and restoring it to factory settings, @KirstyW73?

Chris

Yes, but it still hasn't resolved the issue. Trip to the Apple store or new phone I think 😕

Hi @KirstyW73

If you take your SIM out and try it in another phone are you able to make calls and texts OK?

Katie
