just switching my children over from another network. I have one account active with a subscription,no matter what I do I can’t get the online app to accept puk code to keep original number.
now I’ve added a second sim only, all showing and have number, tried to add a subscription and ended up adding credit by mistake, every time I try to add a subscription to this sim it just tells me I already have one,
so guess it’s going off first account

How are you trying to add a subscription to the 2nd SIM? What does texting AL to 150 from it fully report verbatim (it is free)?
