Linking PAYG SIM asks who is the Bill Payer(!) & tells you to go to a Store

Working SIM in mobile router is not linked to MyEE. Trying to link it online asks whether I or someone else is the Bill Payer (there are no Bill Payers with PAYG) & then fails "Stop linking" telling you to go to a Store to confirm name & addy.

I'm not gonna visit a Store just to register a PAYG SIM. Never have done in the past when linking PAYG SIMs with older versions of MyEE.

Hi @XRaySpeX

Thanks for letting us know.

Could you try another web browser to see if you get the same message?

If so, please give us a call and the team will get this looked into for you and get the number linked to your EE account.

Let me know how you get on.

Leanne 🙂

Since the latest round of MyEE I am only able to log into it from 1 (Edge) browser out of 3. It didn't used to be like this. This is the worst application I've ever seen in my life; it doesn't work on all mainline browsers, it's slow & hangs, it often errors & then works on repeat ... .

I've no intention of phoning anybody. I want it to be self-serve. As I say this SIM works in a router. I only wanted it linked cuz 1 of your colleagues asked for a mobile no. I use for MyEE in connection with ANOTHER error in MyEE. I preferred to use my router's no. as I can remember it rather than the 3/4 nos. that are already there that I can only discover by logging in from only 1 particular browser.
