Keep the pay-as-you-go SIM card while in overseas

Currently I am in overseas and will return to UK next year about March. I'd like to keep the number and continue to use it. Otherwise I have to buy another one from other company. How I can retain my EE SIM card (tel number) without keeping to top-up it? Currently my account still has GBP1.4

Hi @KTABEYUEN

Welcome to the community.

You would have to perform a chargeable action from the SIM within 179 days to keep it from going into hibernation. Chargeable activity includes calls and texts.

@KTABEYUEN : EE PAYG SIMs are deactivated after 6 months of non-chargeable use. You then have a further 3 months to call EE to reactivate it before it is lost completely.

You need to make a chargeable action like making a chargeable call or text, topping up or buying a Pack or Add-on, not just using your mins, texts or data from your pack.
