Did you mean:

How do I view what I've supposedly spent credit on?

I am abroad and am using an esim for mobile data, not my EE sim. I have mobile data and roaming switched off for my EE SIM but calls and texts switched on. I haven't made any calls and the only text I have sent was weeks ago.

I had about £7 credit on my PAYG SIM to use for sending a text home every three months to keep my number live (long other story). I've received a text from EE saying I have £0 credit.. I'm not sure where the money has gone and I can't seem to find anywhere how to view what my credit has been spent on?

The only thing my EE SIM has been used for is receiving texts but I thought it was free to receive texts worldwide.

Sounds like your PAYG SIM has gone into hibernation.

When did you last use it for a chargeable action? EE PAYG SIMs are deactivated after 6 months of non-chargeable use. You then have a further 3 months to call EE to reactivate it before it is lost completely.

You needed to make a chargeable action like making a chargeable call or text, topping up or buying a Pack or Add-on, not just using your mins, texts or data from your pack.

Where are you? If in EU you may be paying roaming charges. Do you have an active pack?

In your online MyEE: Home > Plans & Subs > My Usage.

Receiving texts is free worldwide.

Thanks for the response! I went on my usage and there was nothing there, just links to subscription packs etc. Should I be able to see a list of activities and their price?

I'm currently in Belize, but I've been travelling around North America and Asia. I've had roaming switched off for my EE SIM the whole trip.

The credit was out on my account a year ago, would that have anything to do with it? Surely EE can't swallow credit through.

Hi @SGathergood

If the number is in hibernation no details will show in the EE account for this to be looked into please call us and the team will see if this can be removed from hibernation and the credit reinstated.

Please see our What is pay as you go and flex hibernation, and how do I stop it? - The EE Community article for full details 🙂
