EE Extra Data SIM

I bought an 'EE Extra Data 75GB Pay As You Go SIM Card' from Argos today for £1. It's advertised as a 25GB SIM that has 50GB extra data per month for 6 months, so you get 75GB.

When I received it, there was no mention of the extra data on the packaging. I'm assuming they've given me a pack without the special offer.

I've attached a photo of the Argos listing, and a photo of the product I received.

I don't want to pay the £15 topup and only get 25GB instead of 75GB. I contacted EE support and they said that if it's not written on the pack, then I probably won't get the deal. Is this correct do you think?

Yes - Exactly the same packaging.. The offer it appears is for all new registrations between the dates they have shown on the terms and conditions documents.  I used subscribe and save in the app to pay for and register the app.  Throughout the entire process it only showed me the 25gb as documented on the packaging.. At the final stage (after about 5 mins) and went back into the product info screen and the 25 gb had changed to 75 gb..

it’s not surprising that EE get a lot of support calls given the complexity and lack of info during this process.  I worked in IT for many many years and this is just shabby design to be honest.

Thanks for the help though.
