Data add on facility appears to have been disabled

I have a phone on contract and have no problems with that. I also have an EE sim that my son uses and that is Pay as You Go. I have topped money up but the facility to buy a DATA ADD ON appears to have been disabled. He sometines needs extra data a week or so before the next subscription pack starts.  I first noticed this a few months ago. Others on the community had the same problem. I do not understand why the problem is not yet rectified.

@SuzyNW : Get him to text ADD DATA to 150 & choose.

Has he his own separate EE a/c for his PAYG SIM?

Thank you. We will try that. No he doesn't have a separate EE a/c. The sim that we use in his phone is attached to my account. Up until a couple of months ago we were always able to do this via the website. It's strange that we no longer can. But we will try the 'add data' to 150 as you suggest.

He should register his own EE a/c for his PAYG SIM. Then he will have full management of it. Contract & PAYG nos. don't mix under the same a/c.
