Well EE customer services seems to be a joke.i called them on Thursday night to have to content blocks removed on a new payg WiFi device and was told it was done but could take up to 24hrs. Funnily enough I still have the blocks tred to call back tonight but couldn't get through In time. Any way of sorting this without having to waist my time with poor customer service representatives??

Hi @Richard529,
There is a dedicated page to remove content lock if you know the mobile number associated with the sim.

Thanks,

Hi Alex
I was under the impression from previous research that I cad to call ee as I have a payg account and not a contract. I do know the number associated with the sim.

Have you tried turning the 4GEE device off and on again?

On PAYG you can't control Content Lock by logging in to your MyEE. Instead you need to call EE with a credit card handy & pay a refundable token amount to prove you are over 18. Alternatively you can visit an EE store with some photo ID.
