Confused with credit balance message remaining. Is it a scam

Just recd message advising of liw balance remaining. Have checked bill but it shows nowhere near monthly amount being used. Please advise how to resolve this.

@CoachL : You don't get bills with PAYG. Do you mean your last top up? The msg is saying that you now have 74p left of that. What's wrong with that & what needs to be resolved?
