I'm travelling abroad. I didn't cancel my pay as you go monthly sim before I left. I cannot call ee, I cannot text ee, I can't find a live chat bot, I cannot email ee. How do I cancel my sim. I can't even cancel my direct debit as my wife on ee as well, our monthly debit comes out together. Do I just suck it up, or is there a way to get a message to ee to cancel this??

Pre-payment PAYG doesn't use direct debits, but you can have regular add-ons that are paid using debit cards - text STOP PACK to stop these.
If you're not on PAYG but are on a pay-monthly contract, then you need to contact EE by phone or post to give 30days disconnection notice. Be aware that if you do this, your phone will lose service at the end of the 30days, there is no way to retain service or transfer the number whilst you are abroad.
