So I have a pay as go pack sim £20 per month. Had it for about 2 years or so. Just this last week or so I have been unable to receive text messages, however I think I can from EE network as I can get responses from 150 and 2fa. I can send texts to others and they receive and still make and receive calls and data is working fine. I have checked message centre number, do not disturb, reset message app (Samsung s20 fe android), cleared messaged app cache, updated phone, restarted, removed and reinserted sim. Disconnected from network operator and reregistered and all manner of other things. Please help 🙏 thanks

Out of curiosity, what are "all manner of other things"?
Do you receive a text message that you send to yourself?

Also in sim manager it's showing wrong number.

There is a lookup for number validity as part of message sending. So "sending failed" to your own number is indicative of the underlying issue.
If you text NUMBER to 150, do you get the correct details by response?

Yes

Hey @Azlan808!
Thanks for reaching out to us here on the Community 😊
There are just a couple of things it's worth checking here, do you know if the message is showing as sent from the other person's end, and does there seem to be any pattern to which devices they're using?
Also have you recently switched from using an Apple device?

Sometimes it's showing sending sometimes it shows unable to send/unable to deliver! No not used a iPhone for years, why would that affect this situation? Surely a sim is a sim in whatever phone its in?
Thanks though.

@Azlan808 With customers that switch from iPhone, if they don't de-register their number from iMessage before switching phones, then messages from other iPhone users will continue to go over iMessage and not come through.
If it's been a while though it's very unlikely that this will be the contributor.
It's also worth checking to see if Android Messaging via RCS is active on your phone, and making sure the settings for this are all correct if it is.

I have checked rcs and settings seem fine, I'm just using the standard message app with rich communications in settings enabled.
