Changing Data Sim Subscription Packs Month to Month

Hi,

So i have been paying for a reoccurring Data Sim Subscription Pack and I want to change the pack to a lower one.

If I change it, will the change happen when the next payment is due (ie 21st of the month) or will the payment date change immediately to when I make the change (ie before the 21st of the month).

Thanks

What you have done is buy the £20 pack now but cuz the existing £30 pack is still active the £20 pack is held pending until the £30 pack expires on the 21st. At which time the £20 pack will kick in but is already paid for. So you won't be paying anything until that expires 30 days later.

What does texting AL to 150 from your no. fully report verbatim (it is free)?

@BishBashBosh113 : Do you have a Direct Card Payment or a Recurring Card Payment?

You can tell the diff in that the former gets you a 10% discount but the latter doesn't.

  • With the current Direct Card Payment the payment date auto changes to when you buy the pack.
  • With the older Recurring Card Payment the payment date is fixed to the day of the month.

Hi XRaySpeX,

I get 10% discount so I'm thinking its the former, so the date will change to when i changed the pack.

Strange point is the payment has gone out of my bank account already but the details in the EE App show the top up date will be as previously (21st).

I'm confused as I want the top up date to stay the 21st as thats when i get paid. I changed the pack because i have built up data so reduced the pack down fron 125GB to 50GB a month half way through the 30 day period to make sure it didnt affect the payment and its taken it straight away.

Thanks for replying.
