Can't connect despite buying EU 7 day pass

I bought a 7 day EU roaming pass to use my own data but it's not letting me connect to the local network in Austria. It worked before we left Germany. Is there something else I need to do?

I bought the £10 EU pack but I still can't access my EE data in Austria. It's infuriating! Is there anything else I need to do?

Try resetting your device. 

Can you connect manually to the network.

Can you make calls & texts?

If so, What does texting AL to 150 from your no. fully report verbatim (it is free)?

Did you receive a msg upon arrival telling you about the charges for roaming in EU on PAYG? Did you buy 1 of the "Roam Like Home" add-ons to be able to use your UK pack allowances there?

I'm having exactly the same problem as above. I bought the 7 day EU pass which worked fine for me once I restarted the phone, but I did the same for my son's phone and he can't access his data. We are both on PAYG.

I bought the 7 day EU add on to access my own data here. It worked to restart my phone. But when I then paid for the same add-on for my son's phone we now can't get it to work at all. The add-on has definitely been added to his account but he still can't access his own data, despite restarting phone.
