My parents have an old dumb phone with just a standard payg sim.
They've now got a smartphone and want to be able to use a small amount of data.
Can this be added to the existing sim?
I don't really want it to be a monthly amount, so ideally if they load money to it, the data is available until the money runs out, the same as the existing set up for calls.
Is this possible?
Also they need a new sin card for the phone and want to keep the same number
Thanks

Hi @MuppetReaper,
Welcome to the Community!
Do you know if the SIM in question is still working?

So that would mean that the data only lasts 30 days?
What's the smallest they do
Might try and get to a store, see what they say

Yes the old one works, it's just too big for the new phone

You can only get data either in the form of a pack of calls, text & data for 30 days at a time or as a data add-on for either 7 or 30 days.
Packs generally work out better than add-ons.
