Hi. I recently moved my mobile number to EE and I am using a iPhone 12. I should be getting 4g calling but when I make a phone call it drops to 3g. In the settings when I try and turn it on the message comes up to contact EE to switch it on. Why when it should be switched on by default. Thanks if you can help me.

I have just phoned up EE and the guy I spoke to said that I had a 3G SIM card he said that he will send me a new sim with my number on it which will take 2 to 3 days. He said they have 3 types of sims 3G 4G and 5G. I said though my phone is a 5G phone that it’s not available on pay as you go and he said that it was and he said he would send me a 5G SIM card so that would be even better.
thanks for everyone’s help at least I don’t have to change network again.

I just want to say that I received my new SIM card today and everything is working fine. Thanks to an excellent service from EE.
