@teddi97  Are you copying and pasting it in there or are you manually typing it in without any spaces.

Is your device an EE device?
when did you get this device?

your IMEI? You can get your on any smart phone by bringing up your dial pad and tips in *#06#, this will show your IMEI number, if you have a duel sim device there will be 2 shown 👌

Eddy
I did manually type them

My device is not EE device. I only have bought SIM init and I got it today

I am aware how to get my IMEI, and I have got it then I have typed them manually on it, but it isn't recognised for some reason

Hi @teddi97,

Your IMEI won't be recognised by the unlocking form if it isn't an EE phone.

Are you trying to unlock it to use it with an EE SIM? To do this, you'd need to contact the service provider it is locked to.

James

Hi,

I have called the customer service and they could not do this for me cus it
is meant to be done with the former mobile company I used which was Three.

However, I still cannot deal with it as I am no longer a customer with
Three, I don't know what to do now 😞

Are you looking to get your mobile unlocked (from Three) to accept a new sim from a different provider (EE)

The mobile device you want to add the EE sim in ex contract with Three

If so the only company that can unlock your mobile is the company you had your mobile from.
If the network provider you received the mobile from was Three, then you need to call them to unlock it their end so you can use any other network providers SIM card, EE will be unable to do this for you as it’s from Three.

Eddy
Hi,

I am a little confused that I did not buy a mobile phone from Three, but in
Korea. Three was just the first SIM I have ever started to use since 2017
when I moved to UK.

The thing is, I can no longer login to Three account as my number has been
transferred to EE account (SIM). Do I still have to contact them to unlock?
I might have to go to their shop for helps I assume.

Best wishes,
