took money from account but said to try another payment method

I bought a controller for £65 without an account since emails weren't being sent, payment was taken from my account but it went back to the checkout page and said to use another payment method, what should I  do?

Payments taken in error are often refunded a couple of days later, was it a credit/debit card payment?

Chargeback should be an option if all else fails.
