iPhone duo preorder

Hi, basically on Friday around 2:00 pm I’ve preordered an iPhone duo star white 1 TB paid in full NO CONTRACT my tracking number start with EE- so into the app says “DPD Usually dispatched within 14 days“ however on the confirmation e mail says: “ Available to order. Expect despatch in more than 28 days“ while when I was purchasing was “ available on launch day” what happened in between? When should I have to expect the delivery?  @Alex_H  thank you

Thanks for visiting the EE Community

1. For that model the guidance changed from day of launch to within 21 days at around 14:13, though it should be noted the delivery guidance are estimates based on expected stock and the orders being taken. So if you placed it just before this time it is not a 100% guarantee. 
    
2.  It is normal when placing an online order to get an XKO reference number first and an additional order number once processed. However If there was an issue that caused your order to be delayed that could potentially have an effect, but we have no access to orders via these forums to be able to advise.
    
3. We don't have a specific estimated date for when to expect orders placed today, only that we do expect it to be more than 28 days at minimum.
