Hi,
I've been regularly checking my order update. For last 10 day's it's said expected delivery between 28th-30th September.
As of yesterday it now says "Awaiting confirmation"! What does this mean?

I don't work for EE no haha. What a stupid reply. You need to just be patient. And realise that you have pre ordered a device. One that you are not paying for yet, and EE are waiting for stock from apple so they can then send them out to DPD who then take over the delivery information. Its not rocket science. EE can't just magic iPhone out of thin air! Just be patient.

Same is the problem with me.
At the point of order i was told the phone will be with me within a week and now after a week when i contacted ee again they say it will take up to 28 days.
I am not satisfied with ee now

Sigh, my current phone is on its last life. I suppose to get mines October 28th. No text from DPD yet. I hope my phone last until it comes.

I ordered an iPhone 14 Pro Max over the phone on Tuesday 25th October. I knew there was a delay but I didn't appreciate how long. My bad! I contacted EE this evening (01/11/22) to be informed it was 14 days, then he said oh that's wrong it's 21 days and then changed it again to oh, it's 28 days. I come off the phone unconvinced and not confident with EE customer services. It's a real shame that they cant seem to have a clear idea. Any ideas from anyone from EE on here would be greatly received. I understand if there is a backlog due to demand but give me some correct guidance. I cam deal with that. Cheers.

I'm in similar situation to Coys1882 . I ordered mine online on 26 October (Iphone Pro Max 256GB Deep Purple). I knew there would be a delay of 21 days at the time. If I check online now and do a dummy new order it still says 21 days. When I call up, I am told up to 21 days. The point I am making is that it feels like it is always 21 days away, even though it hopefully isn't. It would be nice if EE could let the customer know that their order is in a batch of stock which they are expecting on a certain day - it is personal that way and feels like your phone has been allocated to you. The current system just feels like the updates are just when another batch of stock is in and you may or may not get one of these. (I appreciate previous posts say "stock is allocated on the oldest order basis" but that doesn't appear on the website at all and is not mentioned when you are ordering. There are other simple things that EE could do to improve the customer experience as well, such as not having "Usually despatched within 1 day" on the confirmation email when it clearly isn't going to be.

The current estimate is to expect dispatch within 21 days. They are sent out in order in which they were placed, from oldest to newest, but I cannot be any more specific with that.
