Website basket is broken!

I've been trying to use the website to add an additional SIM to my contract, but realised if I add anything to the basket, I can't checkout or view the basket! It just goes back to the 'Shop' page, either on the EE app or on the browser. Surely the ability to purchase anything from EE online hasn't been broken for everyone for the past week?? Or is it just me?

Hi Chris,

Appreciate you getting back to me. Can you advise which department I need to speak to please? On the contact us page there are a lot of different departments and nothing specifically around website account issues.

I have exactly the same issue and have had for months, Website doesn't work for much other than checking your bill. I cant pay bills online and I'm forced to do it via the phone. Have tried to upgrade my phone today and I get this first screen followed by the second screen and then get sent back to the first, It says it cant log me in despite being logged in. Ive always had good service with EE/T-Mobile/BT/Orange or whatever you call yourself this year but its beyond a joke that you have to contact a forum to get basic functionality of a telecommunications/ISP service providers website, It doesn't provide much faith.  I'll be honest the only reason I haven't changed to Vodaphone is because I have several accounts with you and cant be bothered with the faff, but its quickly becoming more of a problem dealing with your website than just moving all of my accounts to a cheaper provider.  just to make sure this is clear this happens on every browser and in the app. Screenshot 2024-04-02 1201041.pngScreenshot 2024-04-02 120042.png

Welcome to the community.

I'm sorry to hear that you've had some problems with the site. Are you able to use these functions on a different device or browser? Does the same thing happen?

The same thing on every device, on every web browser for each associated account and the app. If I try to pay a bill I just get a screen that tells me please try again later. The only thing I can access on thhe website is the main account page with each of the accounts and the add one page nothing else loads, I get sorry please try again later or the headers and footer of the web page with nothing in the middle.

I recommend speaking to our technical support team so they can look into this for you, @Dannyc82 

I've tested on a few different browsers and accounts. I can't replicate the same problem.

Thanks for trying, I'm just going to move to another service provider. it's easier than having this discussion every 12 months. It was the same last year and not rectified. I shouldn't have to do the running arround, basic account functions should just work. I don't see how following a link to a website that already doesn't work for me can help further and I really don't have the time to sit on the phone for hours to sort it out. It's just not acceptable for these things not to work. I appreciate your help in this matter and I understand that you are limited in what you can do to help, your attention in this matter has been very kind.

Every browser, every pc, phone, EE app, iPhone, android, it just doesn't work.

When trying to checkout, it always errors.
