Hiya. I registered to EE and bought an unlimited sim only plan. Trying to contact customer service but the only options they have got is for mobile phones or broadbands/tv/laptop. Tried to choose 1 and ask me for a number that I want to discuss about. I only registered for a new sim plan which the simcard has not arrived yet and can’t seem to contact their customer support properly. Any advice? Thank you.

Try calling EE Sales on +44 800 956 6000 (option 2 > option 4) . That won't ask for an EE mobile no.
