Gift card scam?

MattyStags
Visitor

Signed up months ago to EE broadband with the offer of a £175 Mastercard gift card. Card came through the other day (a few months after broadband activation) and as soon as I completed the ‘sign up’ for the card I could no longer access the website due to an error.

I thankfully (or not) took a screenshot of the card details however it cannot be used, anywhere. I cannot add it to Apple Pay, Amazon, PayPal. I cannot use it on any website to purchase anything and there is nobody to contact because the website is down and, according to reviews, has been for over a week now.

The offer is the reason I picked EE for broadband. Who can I contact to help with this? It’s screaming scam at this point. The website is https://www.yourrewardpass.com

Hi @MattyStags

Did you place the order and take the offer directly from our website, or did you order the broadband through a 3rd party site?

You can find out more about our rewards card offer taken through us, including who to contact if you experience any issues, at About EE Reward Cards
