Hi alldo anyone know if we sending out preorders early like samsung.com are. They sending out preorders 5 days early on 21st September

Ordered on the 10th from EE - just received " Confirmation: Your order's on its way" on the day but never got order number or anything else afterwards so cant even track whats going on

Have you downloaded the DPD app and have you received any notifications at all on it to confirm your order is on its way.

I pre ordered on 10th August and not received any notifications at all. 

If your order is confirmed with EE , you should have a order number. If you have not contact EE for it

Yes have DPD pre-installed just easier to track anything coming via DPD.

Spoke to EE earlier since these devices are still in the pre-order phase that's why we don't have confirmation, we will receive an order confirmation when it is about to be handed over to DPD and i will get order details as well to track.

EE have received a device for me, and was told to expect an Order update by late Wednesday or Thursday morning, EE will try to do same-day delivery with DPD on Friday so let's see.

Hi  in the same position. I phoned up and got my order number but it doesn't do anything cause you can't track it until dpd have it, well I can't track it right now anyway. I'm on pay monthly contract and  trading in my old device. If you want your order number just give them a phone.

I'm the same trading in my fold 3 . So excited too .. Camera is so much
better than the fold 3 ..my friend ordered hers on Saturday through Samsung
directly and she got hers yesterday ..it's so much better than fold 3 ...

The biggest letdown for me are

1 Camera

2 Battery 

always been a note user, instead of waiting for ultra 23 trying fold series this year

Yes has a better chip but should go at least 5000mah batter as it has 2 screens, and a decent camera which is at least par with the existing series instead of going for last gen camera

The Snapdragon 8+ gen 1 SoC in the Fold4 and Flip4 is very much more power efficient than its predecessor in the Fold/Flip3. So much so that it pretty much compensates for the smaller battery.

I watched a test recently where these latest foldables fared very well indeed. OK, they didn't win anything but the Flip4's battery weighing in at only 3700mAh means that the optimisation is impressive. Given that the tests were done on the Fold4's main screen and that that screen is nearly twice the surface of most of the others, I think it did very well.

I would have liked to see the test done on the Fold4's cover screen and I reckon it would have given the other devices a real run for their money.

This is my first foldable phone and only my 2nd brand new smartphone......ever! All the rest have been refurbished/2nd hand.  I'm too excited for this. I'm honestly checking my app 24/7. I spoke to ee yesterday and they said there's no shortage of colours so there should be no delays for anyone. 2 days to go! I've always wanted a fold since they came out in 2019 but I heard of a lot of people's folds breaking. Camera was another big thing as well they weren't the greatest cameras but I think they have really refined it with the fold 4, so as soon as I got the txt saying I could upgrade early I jumped at the chance. I called up today to chase details and was told that i should get my pre order tomorrow and that i should get a text or email today with the confirmation of tracking. 

She did say it was showing as delivery the 25th but something also made me think she meant despatch 25th so i guess we will wait and see. Will update here if i do get anything today.
