I claimed my free year of Samsung Care+ and Disney+ the day I got the phone (Friday). 

I also claimed my Starter Pack and Buds Pro² the same day. 

Yesterday I recieved emails & texts to say my claims were successful and my starter pack would be dispatched within 2 days and my buds dispatched within 45 days. 

Today I recieved an email & text to say my starter pack had been dispatched and would be with me in a few days.

The phone is great! The change in the width and height of the cover screen, be it only a few mm each way, makes a huge difference. The new multitasking features make life so much easier for me (they've also been released to the Tab S8 Ultra, for what it's worth) and the increased power efficiency of the Snapdragon 8+ gen 1 chip is noticeable. The modem in this thing seems to work better than in the Fold3 too.

Re the perks... I got a text message saying that the starter kit had been sent and an e-mail from Yodel predicting delivery on Saturday. As for the buds, I've had confirmation that the claim has been approved and that I should receive them within 45 days. I also got the year of Samsung Care+ but I've never ever been able to claim the year of Disney+ (tried everything and it just doesn't work for me).

I'm giving my partner first dibs on the buds. I see no mention that the materials have been changed and I'm one of the few whose ear canals were sent into allergic meltdown by the Buds2 and Buds Pro, so I use a pair of Sennheisers now.

Recieved my "Starter Kit" yesterday. Disappointed that they aren't matching the colour to that of the phone. What's the point of ordering a non black phone to then recieve a black case and s pen?

Grey-green is the hero colour for the Fold4. It's what they're going to sell in the largest numbers. They're giving out as freebies the one that they reckon they will sell the fewest of.

Not long after I bought the Fold3 I went and bought the official leather case to go with it because the case that came with the Fold3 starter kit was basically a disaster. That official leather case broke. Now, while I did go out and buy the standing case with S-Pen to match my Fold4, I'm aware that it, too, might break, so I'm glad to have the freebie from Samsung even if it is the wrong colour. I don't care about the charger, I've got loads of the things, but the case, yes.

I also got mine yesterday. Sadly Ingram Micro use Yodel for their deliveries so I was half expecting to have to look for the parcel in a neighbour's bin or on the roof, but no, it was actually delivered to me. The tracking page said that the driver would need to take a photo in front of the open door as proof of delivery but in fact he just shoehorned it through the letterbox, nearly crushing it in the process.

The standing case with S-Pen bought on its own is available in the same 3 colours as the phones. But the starter kit is only available with the black case:

That was the same with me .I got the grey green fold 4 which looks great
but case is black in free gift pack ...I I've bought the Samsung silicone
case but again its black but I can advise getting g one as they are so
grippable .fold 4 is so slippery ain't it ..
Also why are galaxy buds taking 45 days to arrive ??

The Fold4 in grey-green really is a good looking phone. I particularly like the green tint to the hinge and the chrome around the edge. At home, most of the place is carpeted so I risk using it totally uncovered (the phone, that is...). I don't think it'll come to much harm if it falls on the carpet. I do case up if I'm going out, though.

I don't know what the reason is for the 45-day wait for the buds, but it was like that in February for the promotional offer for the S22 Ultra and the Tab S8 Ultra. It's nothing out of the ordinary. I can imagine they're giving priority to shipping sets that they're actually selling and the promotional stock will be sent to Ingram Micro when they get a few minutes to breathe.
