Samsung Z Fold 6 - Delivery

I ordered the Samsung Z Fold 6 (Navy—256GB) on 10 Jul 24. The order was expected to be delivered today (19 Jul 24). I have yet to receive any indication that it will or when it likely will be. When ordering, it was mentioned that it would arrive on launch day, which is today.  Slighty concerning when yesterday I received all the welcome notifications via SMS and all the changes made to the line.  Surely this shouldn't have been enacted until the device arrived.  It was a SIM only plan previously.  These changes and the costs associated shouldn't apply until I have the device.

Help would me appreciated.  I hoped to have the device today, so I had the time to set it up for its intended use.

Is there anyone who can help with more information about the Samsung galaxy fold 6 and when to expect delivery how many days or weeks it will take? I’ve contacted ee on a number of different occasions the first adviser said the 13th of August and the second advisers said definitely the 16th of August (yesterday) but still no communication on what’s going on. I’m aware of the phone has just come out and there’s a back log but would have just appreciated a more accurate timeframe. Also I’m new to ee and as I don’t have my sim yet I’m I still to be charged the monthly Direct debit before Sim and device has turned up.

Just to reassure you first of all, with back-ordered handsets your account and bills won't activate until we have stock and it's been dispatched to you, so you'll not be charged for the period you're waiting. 

We always aim to provide the most  up to date delivery estimate possible when you place your order too, and we always fulfill orders as soon as we can on a first come, first served basis. 

Which variant of the Z Fold6 is it you've gone for here?

I've had a check over this phone and it's showing as in stock for next day delivery, so it's not something you should be seeing any delay on. 

Was this an order for a brand new contract, or an upgrade to an existing contract?

Was an order for a brand new contract the deposit money has come out of my account been told everything’s gone through with no problems. This was place over the phone with one of your sales team.

I can't complain. I myself, did the same as you and ordered it early so I had it for launch day, but I was successful.  I'm really surprised as Samsung are normally on the ball with these things especially new products.  😥 

It was released the 19th of July. Definitely chase that up.
