Returning Apple Watch but keeping iPhone from same order

Hi,

I recently ordered an iPhone 18 Pro Max and Apple Watch together through an EE Guide. The Watch has already been delivered, but the iPhone hasn’t been dispatched yet.

I’m still within the 14-day cooling off period for the Watch and I’m considering returning it as I’m not sure it’s the model I want.

Does anyone know whether I can return just the Apple Watch while keeping my existing iPhone order completely unchanged?

I’m particularly concerned about accidentally cancelling or affecting the outstanding iPhone order, my place in the stock queue, or the price/agreement for the phone, as the two devices were ordered together.

Has anyone returned one device from a phone and watch order while keeping the other?

Contact customer service and they will raise a channel return.

I ordered the iPhone and the case/screen protector as a combo but didn't want the case.

They've let me return the case without affecting the iPhone order.

You'll need to speak to EE CS anyway and as @garetc speaking with them is the route to take.

Thanks for coming to the community.

You should be fine to return the watch without impacting your iPhone order. 

While you placed the orders at the same time, they'll show as different orders on your account so if the watch is returned, the iPhone order would carry on and be dispatched when the stock is available.
