Hello, i was wondering if anyone had any advice on my current situation, so i returned a faulty device that i bought on finance, i paid the finance in full within 2 weeks of getting the device as i had that cash spare, 3 weeks into the purchase my phone was overheating from using the camera, so i returned for the phone for a refund and i got my £100 upfront back almost instantly, problem is i paid £600 in total, £100 upfront and £500 after that, so i asked where the other £500 is, they confirmed the funds were not released and they don't know why, so they sent a request and i was told it would be done/i'd be given an update within 48 hours, so i waited the 48 hours and was told they don't still don't know but they can see i am 100% owed said money, i have now been chasing this for 10 days, after the 2 week peirod i should of gotten the refund. They keep telling me they can't do anything and i should ask my bank for help, i've explained to them that money i was relying on to pay my rent because i used my rent money to get a replacement phone because i was expecting that £500 back which any normal person would expect to get it. So far they couldn't give a toss, they constantly ignore me and expect me to wait even though i've explained i've had to borrow money to cover my rent which will get interest on it, so if this goes too far and i can't afford to pay back my loan I guess EE will just keep laughing with the cash they've scammed from me.

Hi @IJN92
Welcome to the community.
I'm really sorry to hear of the experience that you've had with this so far. The best advice I can give, is to open a complaint. That way, a dedicated team will look into your account to make sure that the correct processes are being followed, and will contact you directly to discuss it.
