Pre-ordered the iphone 14 Pro Max (Space Black 128GB) on the 13th of September

I Pre ordered the iphone 14 Pro Max on the 13th of September I was told on Live chat I would receive it on the 14th of sept (I knew that wouldn't be the case), when I didn't get it on the day I asked EE again when I would get the phone, they said within 28 days of the order date but probably a lot sooner than the full 28 day wait, just wondering if anyone else ordered the same phone on that date or even around that date and has had any order update?
Just trying to get a rough idea of when I may get it, I asked again yesterday when I would get the phone on live chat and they said again "Within 28 days from today" so it feels like the goal post keeps moving.

@MorggDonn  Obviously people got that model type on launch day.  But at least you knew you probably will not get it on launch day.  Sit back relax you’ll get it just let other people get upset about not getting a phone when they want a new must have shiny new toy.    Until EE can allocate a device to you because your next in the queue I wouldn’t get to upset about it.   EE can not supply what Apple haven’t shipped to them and just about all customers think they should get the device before everyone else.
