Playstation 5 order not delivered yet

Hi 

I ordered a playstation 5 on 29th Nov 2022 and I can see in DPD app that it was shipped on 1st Dec and was due to be delivered by 2nd Dec. But since 2nd dec until today, everyday it says that there has been an unexpected issue (it is being held up at Appleton Depot) and will now be delivered next working day. I called DPD and they said it will definitely be delivered by 6th Dec. If it doesn't, contact EE and they will be able to check why it is stuck there and if it is lost etc. I called 150 and the customer service is also unhelpful and they are just reading out tracking history messages saying it will be delivered today. So I am just stuck going round in circles. Any advice here would be helpful before i cancel my order

Are there any updates on the DPD app if you enter your email and postcode?

Yes, it says "There's a delay with your parcel and its being held in our Appleton DPD depot".

The status gets updated everyday with the same message and it has been doing it everyday since 2nd December at different times of day. The one updated today is at 13.10

I'd recommend getting back in touch with Customer Care. As there have been no new updates from DPD, they'll be able to escalate it directly.
