Pixel Fold 9 Pro delivery dates?

Hi. When will the Fold 9 pro be delivered? I believe the release date is Wednesday coming. Will they be sent out on Wednesday or be delivered on Wednesday? I ordered a few days ago, but there is no tracking. When I type my order number in it just gives me a red box with "sorry you can't track this order type just yet".

The fact that no one from EE is replying here either means someone from the EE community team isn't relaying the message of how popular this thread has become and how angry we are or they have and EE doesn't care. Either one is despicable. Come on EE do something!

Weird one for me today. 

So I've tried both my order numbers in combination with my phone or email every day since I ordered but I get no tracking at all.

Called up just to ask why other people do but I don't and the lady I spoke to put me on hold briefly to phone someone up from another department to chase my order.

Apparently the guy she spoke to said my phone is due for delivery this week, "most likely Thursday or Friday" is what he said. 

I'm hoping that's true but part of me feels like it might have been a member of staff who looked, saw the phone is releasing tomorrow and then just assumed it'd be delivered around about the day after that.

Hanging in there that atleast more clarity comes for all of us soon but this isn't the best experience as a new customer.

That is exactly what it is. No one at EE knows as their departments obviously do not communicate with on another. EE's ordering process and pre order process are absolutely abysmal and need looking into. I think we need to send to their twitter account.

During my 'chat' session yesterday with EE I suggested many times that they view and maybe get an official response on this thread - not one of the 'agents' I was chatting with acknowledged this suggestion despite picking up on every other comment / query I raised.

And what was their reply to your other queries? It seems this community forum isn't really something EE give a damn about.

Just spoke to someone via online chat. I placed my order on 16 August and the person told me that it will be at least 28 days before delivery. This could just be entirely wrong but I find that pretty bad so cancel my entire order and placed it directly through Google instead. Marginally more expensive but overall not that big difference. Now will shop around for the best sim only deal. Hopefully, this means some of your  orders will be fulfilled earlier

I don't blame you. I do wonder how EE are deciding on this course of action regarding pre-orders. I think they just want as many people to order as possible and they are fine with some cancelling once they find out their information is misleading as they have hooked twice as many as they have lost. Not great for customer satisfaction though.

I wouldn't take what the EE reps say as gospel to be honest, I don't think they actually know at all! I would imagine the 28+ days is for more recent orders

O2 have just updated their website to say up-to "4 week delayed" not preorder, before this they had it as "preorder for delivery from 4th" now much more definitive language. 

Seems like it's a stock issues on Google side.
