Pixel Fold 9 Pro delivery dates?

Hi. When will the Fold 9 pro be delivered? I believe the release date is Wednesday coming. Will they be sent out on Wednesday or be delivered on Wednesday? I ordered a few days ago, but there is no tracking. When I type my order number in it just gives me a red box with "sorry you can't track this order type just yet".

To be honest all of this is why I cancelled the order and went through Google.

I have no issue with the telephone service from EE, but this whole thing has been handled shockingly.

I just wanted some certainty / confirmation of roughly when a device would arrive and they couldn't even do that.

Friends who ordered around the same time as me are getting theirs today, so I probably would have done as well, but at least Google communicate.

Placed the order Monday evening with a clear delivery date, two hours later it had been packed and ready to ship.

Yesterday evening I got a ship notification, and by 9am I knew when it was arriving today.

This is in contrast to the "order and hope" approach from EE.

Yeah it's shocking the way EE handle preorders. Really shocking.

I just called CS again asking what went wrong. They apologised and said they could cancel the order or swap to another phone. I said I didn't want to do either is there anything else they could do and they said no. No discount, nothing apart from a lame apology. Pathetic. Absolutely pathetic. I'll be going back to O2 after this fiasco.

This is the only way to send a message, if you kick a fuss but they get your money in the end anyway trust me they don't care, if they loose lots of customers and the bottom line is affected then they'll sweat a little.

I'm in a way glad I ordered just a couple of days ago and based delivery off Google store dates for the porcelain 512gb, I figured nobody could deliver earlier than Google.

This my first time buying from EE, every other pixel I've ordered directly from Google and dates always get pushed earlier than initially quoted. If it weren't for the price motivating my decision and not the delivery timescale I'd have just ordered from Google, but I really can't justify the sticker price on the fold.

I actually don’t think these are coming from EE, I think they are coming direct from Google as when you look at a new order for the obsidian 256gb it says 1-3 days delivery and EE’s order info page says that means from the manufacturer/3rd part whereas direct EE is next day delivery

Both of mine, 512gb Obsidian and 512gb Porcelain came this morning.

What date did you order them?

When did you order?

I'd worked out that staying with my SIM only contract and buying the phone from Google, taking into account the £175 credit I get back, over two years it's cost me a whole £119 more to do it this way.

Also drops my monthly outgoings from £50+ for a phone and airtime to £16. I've got the money to buy the handset and I prefer to lower my monthly commitments where possible.
