Pixel Fold 9 Pro delivery dates?

Hi. When will the Fold 9 pro be delivered? I believe the release date is Wednesday coming. Will they be sent out on Wednesday or be delivered on Wednesday? I ordered a few days ago, but there is no tracking. When I type my order number in it just gives me a red box with "sorry you can't track this order type just yet".

I've come to the conclusion that no one knows and it will arrive when it arrives. 

There's nothing you can do about it if they don't have the stock. 

Meanwhile, my current device is just fine, so there's no real problem.

I did post some of the screenshots yesterday of the chat but in short - global shortage and it's not EE's fault it's Google production shortage.
28 + days was the standard response.

That isn't the point now, is it? This isn't about us wanting the phone now its about being transparent about the release date in the ordering process. EE have used misleading language about the release of the phone to get orders in not caring about the truth.

No it isn't EEs fault for shortage, but it IS their fault that they misled their customers. The fact they are STILL misleading them with a "from the 4th" delivery date on their page is beyond a joke.

PS - I did contact Google as well to advise them of the issues being had with EE, they wouldn't / can't comment on EE but did confirm that orders from them would be a matter of weeks to fulfil due to high demand.

This is shocking. The same thing happened last year for the Pixel Fold from EE.

I ordered when the preorder for 9 Pro Fold went live. I had a call and was told I will receive the device on 4th September two weeks ago.

I have called today as tracking is not updated with dispatch. I was told I am on backorder. Why? If I was one of the first to order and previously told I was getting the device on release day I should not be on back order.

This is 2 years in a row this has happened.

I got my fold on launch last year, but they said the same stuff about backorder. However, I got dispatch notification two days prior last year. I ordered later this year, but if no one has their fold 9 pro dispatch note yet I doubt anyone will get their phone tomorrow.

Yeah it's a joke. I think we can all expect it's not coming tomorrow, but as you've mentioned it's more about the lack of transparency at this stage.  If it wasnt for the massive prelaunch discount id be going elsewhere

I have received my second return pack today and they expect my phone by 8th Sept. Just a complete shambles, again.

I just got a welcome call off EE and she said it’s all on track for delivery tomorrow but said in the same breath if it doesn’t arrive to give them a call. Gave me zero confidence
