Phone being delivered to store

I ordered a phone on the 22nd April and due to work, asked for it to be delivered to store so I could collect. Its been 5 days now and other than an order number which I got 5 mins after placing the order, I haven't heard anything. 

How long does it take for a phone to be delivered? If I asked for delivery to home, they advise dispatched within 24 hours. Is it really that much longer having delivered to a store? 

Its not a brand new Phone, its 1 version behind the latest so I am just worried what's taking so long. 

I have tried to call the Store but cannot get through so wondered what peoples lead times were when ordering to store.

It was just a Google Pixel 6. Nothing brand new. 😕

It was a Pixel 6a in Charcoal.

I've had a look and that model is currently out of stock, but available to order with an estimated delivery timescale of 7 days.
