Parcel lost/stolen with DPD?

Hi all.

Last Sunday I ordered an S23 Ultra through EE and received a notification from DPD last night saying it was going to my local depot in Swansea for delivery. This morning I received notification that my parcel was delayed due to unexpected issue 'in my area'. I thought, that's a bit strange, I've not heard of anything going on around here.

Well, I find out that it never actually seemed to have left the hub depot at all, and was delayed at the sortation facility. It's been nigh 24 hours since the original notification and well, I'm a bit concerned about whether or not it's even coming at all.

I wouldn't stress over it.  Being  delayed at DPD's 'sortation facility' isn't unusual.  It's happened me with other deliveries from other retailers before.  Your package usually starts moving again overnight.

Had exactly the same, have had the same issue with my s21 ultra and s22 ultra. When dpd was called they just said it didn't go out on the van and don't give any further reason both times I had to make arrangements for someone to be home as you can't change address.

Both times issue was in hinkley to Swansea transition both times they came next day but didn't get time slot until gone 11 am.

Wish you best of luck getting yours tomorrow mines definitely going back to depot if I cant get home in time.

It's odd, it's Hinkley to Swansea for me as well. Hopefully it gets to me whilst someone's here...

I wouldn't worry about it. I've had the exact same thing happen, not just with DPD, but with other carriers as well.

I’ve had exactly the same with Royal Mail. My router was supposed to have arrived on 10th…I too had a notification it was due to be delivered on 10th but it never arrived. It says it’s still at Northampton hub. Infuriating as our broadband was due to start today!!!!
