Hello,
Today I called at EE to purchase a new plan and an iPhone.
I talked to the agent for around 45 mins. Her name was Rebecca Andrews.
I ordered an iPhone and took 25gb plan for myself. She send me a link which stated as "Hi dalha dana. Please join me in a screen sharing session. It's secure and simple - just click here: (if you are not the intended recipient do not click on the link and delete the message) https://eu2.lightico.com/Default.aspx?mt=sms&sid=5b801f61-d6f0-4977-a63b-24a820b152fa"
I completed the step and paid £70 upfront.
Now the real problem arises.
The host typed my name incorrectly and I didn't get any email via EE, just a random text which says "Hi Dalha, your order is confirmed. See the latest updates at https://myaccount.ee.co.uk/orderdetails?order=VkMFOTmwZUiLFSEHJndNgvVoDqxr9Wwr Thanks from EE."
When I called the customer service, they were not able to find my number in their database, neither of my ID as well .
I am not able to understand that was it genuine or a scam, can anybody please help me out?

Hello @Talhadana.
Are you new to EE?
Did the team try searching with your delivery address?
Speak soon,
Katie

I first called at 08009566000 and had a chat for around 45 mins.
I had some confusion so I told her to call me back after 1 hour.
And then I received a call from +447973100194. And the remaining process was done.

I called them around 1:30 pm yesterday. I had a chat for around 45mins . The first call I placed was on 08009566000.
Because of some confusion she said I will call you back in 1 hour until then you can make your decision.
By 3:00 pm , I got a call from +447973100194, and then we proceed the deal and stuff.
But no email was sent to me regarding my order and just £70 got deducted from the account

That's the correct number for our sales team @Talhadana
I'd recommend getting back in touch on 0800 956 6000 and a member of the team will be able to locate your order.
