Hi ive placed an order for the iPhone 17 pro max I have recived and email with ako code its been 48 hours I have no clue if ive been accepted or not money has been taken and can't seem to get a straight answer over the phone, can any one tell me if ako order number means im approved or am I wasting my time ?

I ordered a sim only phone. 

iPhone 17 pro max - deep blue - 256gb - ordered on the 19th September. It did previously say more than 28 days but now states within 28 days.

That's correct, for your order placed on 19/09/25 for the iPhone 17 Pro Max 256GB Deep Blue, the expected dispatch time is within more than 28 days. The guidance for your specific delivery will not change. 
We're working on orders on a first-come first-served basis, and we'll be in touch once stock is assigned to your order.

I put an order in for the new iPhone and ee have took the upfront cost but since then I haven't heard a word of when the phone is arriving no text no nothing anytime I try to track said its timed out try again with uptodate information but that's the only information I have

I know you'll be keen to get your hands on your new phone.

Many of the new iPhone versions do have a back order list, so there is a wait until it would be dispatched.

If you let me know which model you ordered, including colour and storage size, as well as the date you placed the order, I'll take a look at the estimated timescales.

sorry to jump in. My deep blue 17 pro max 256gb was ordered on 19th September. I have raised a complaint as the tracker hasn’t moved. The EE chat team said that he’ll be delivered on 20th Oct max. I don’t see how as there’s nothing from DPD

Don’t believe the chat team they don’t have a clue, if you want more accurate response you’ll have to ring up, thats what they keep telling me. I’ve also raised a complaint as heard nothing about mine either im fed up of it how they can take deposits but leave people with no information

I have called them and they have no clue either. Not sure what the point is to pay a high value contract to be able to upgrade mid year and to be put on a forever waiting list. EE is not worth the premium we pay now, absolutely

None of them have a clue it’s appaling, taking peoples money just to be told it could be anywhere after 28 days, i got told it could literally even be up to a year if that’s the case i don’t want it from EE and ill order it from somewhere else. Disgusting. Take it to the complaints team, i have
