Hi ive placed an order for the iPhone 17 pro max I have recived and email with ako code its been 48 hours I have no clue if ive been accepted or not money has been taken and can't seem to get a straight answer over the phone, can any one tell me if ako order number means im approved or am I wasting my time ?

I have ordered an iPhone 17 pro max and the orders been confirmed but it’s been a few days and there’s no updates in the dispatch is there a delay on deliveries?

  • I have never had so little information from my EE mobile service and I have been with them since 1994.  This is not exceptable that I am being given different dates for this order as expected delivery changes everytime I call. Emails when received are still stating at the start of order with no progress since ordered first made on the 20th September 25. On the phone today
  • but its not processed any further and just told it shouldn't be much longer.  Im not sure I'd feel confident to ever preorder another phone again if no reliability of when it will be delivered..

Orders are sent out on a first come first serve basis, but it depends whether EE have them in stock as to when you will receive your device, as it is down to Apple to send out devices.

What colour, storage size did you order?

Please also make sure that you have the DPD app as you can keep an eye on delivery, as DPD will text you up to the evening before delivery and another one on the day of delivery with a one hour window and a PIN number, which you have to show the driver, also make sure the app has the same information as EE have.

This happens every year, and it is down to Apple not sending enough devices out, as they are so popular, other networks are having the same problem.

What colour and storage size did you order?

They’re both 512Gb and one is silver and the other midnight blue - ordered on the 30th of September.

I’ll contact the team too as we are 100% not trading the old phones in - we had gone to sim only on the old phones as they are fully paid off.

If you ordered an iPhone 17 Pro Max 256GB Silver a few days ago, the stock guidance shows expected delivery will be within more than 28 days.

I can see @Schockwave has given you some great advice above already, and the next update you'll get will be once stock is assigned to your order.

Yeah, it's definitely best to check the trade-in messages with the team directly if that isn't right. I'm confident they'll be able to get that sorted out.

For orders placed on 30/09/25 for the iPhone 17 Pro Max 512GB Silver, the expected dispatch time is more than 28 days.
For orders placed on 30/09/25 for the iPhone 17 Pro Max 512GB Deep Blue, the expected dispatch time is within 28 days.

The next update you'd receive about delivery will be when stock is assigned to each order. DPD would then reach out directly to set your delivery date and timeslot, which you can monitor within the DPD app.

Hi, I ordered the same but when I download the dpd how do I have a tracking number? I ordered a sim only online so don’t have the xo/KO number or what ever it is - mine starts with EE and then numbers. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
