Iphone 16 pro- 16 pro max pre order thread/that time of the year again

Hello everyone in the ee community it’s that time again of the year placing and tracking the new iPhone 16 and 16 pro max’s orders and especially since a few years with delay issues with ee 😂 and then ringing them up and patiently waiting for that DPD notification I love this time of the year, so everyone I have created this thread and everyone stay posted in this thread don’t follow any other thread keep this one running guys if we keep each other updated then hopefully we get the iPhone this year on time on release day.

I upgraded from the 15 pro max and they charged me a £100 early upgrade fee, is this normal as I don’t remember paying this before when upgrading iPhones with EE?

My bad, didn’t know you can’t see it. But I’ll copy and paste a chat I had with the EE guide. He said the following when I asked about my preorder and whether I’ll receive in launch day:

“Firstly, congratulation for ordering the premium device. I have reviewed your account and I am glad to inform you that you are one of the lucky customers you are going to be receiving the order on priority basis. The delivery for iphone 16 is expected to be start from 20 Sep 2024 on first come first serve basis. Also I can see that your order has been picked and you can expect the order anytime after 20 Sep 2024. Sounds good?”

Ok yes I got same kind of response and when I asked if I would get my device on Friday they said yes and on my ee says I can’t get my data so looks like its changing over

Yeah completely normal. Just means you weren’t over the year mark where it would have been free

Hey how’d you speak to someone online? I can’t find it. Do you have link for this at all? 

Through the EE app, that’s if you get past the AI first 😭
