Hello everyone in the ee community it’s that time again of the year placing and tracking the new iPhone 16 and 16 pro max’s orders and especially since a few years with delay issues with ee 😂 and then ringing them up and patiently waiting for that DPD notification I love this time of the year, so everyone I have created this thread and everyone stay posted in this thread don’t follow any other thread keep this one running guys if we keep each other updated then hopefully we get the iPhone this year on time on release day.

It’s just an upgrade not additional line for me.

Hi Becky,

I am reading your recent messages and cannot believe what I see. Looks like yourself and some other people here were dealt with by some either untrained or unhelpful members of EE customer service. After reading few days ago that some of you cancelled their orders they’d been waiting for weeks and placed new orders for whatever EE had in stock I decided to have a go. Having said this I was very reluctant bearing in mind you Becky cancelled yours and were unable to re-order. Initially I rang EE to see if they could give me a definite date for my order but the lady said it would be this week or the next one. So I asked a question about the current stock and what is available at the moment. I was told that white and black in 512GB are in stock. Then I asked if my order could be swapped for 512GB in Black. The lady answered that she would need to cancel my current order and placed another one and this is when tension was really high but regardless I asked her to carry on. She cancelled my order and placed a new one for 512GB while I was on the phone which took around 20/25 mins. Once everything was confirmed and payment made for delivery of the new order literally 1 minute late I received confirmation that my order is on its way and an hour and a half later I received DPD txt to say that they are expecting my parcel.

i honestly do not understand how it works that some people can cancel and reorder while other can’t do that. My personal opinion is that it is all down to advisors you deal with and their experience. In my case I just simply asked if my order could be swapped as I’ve been waiting for 16 days and still nobody could give any definitive answers as to how much longer I would have to wait

It does seem that way. I did mine through the digital IVR link they sent me. As talking on phone is difficult due to health but the man I talked to was very good and very patient as I was asking a lot of questions. Like you I get anxious when he cancelled and re ordered but it went smoothly .

I have did confirmation and PIN number now. Strange how one text conversation can change things.

I asked this and they said that I don’t gave an additional line but I said
right why make the order on the 8th then and was told I could and they
placed the order if I can’t get additional line in the first place she
didn’t know what to say she paused for a while before she said I have to
wait for upgrade. So earlier I went onto chat and he was quite helpful and
said I can’t get one and that he wasn’t sure and was confused why they said
I could add a line and then not. He said straight away he would put a
complaint in and have to wait 3-4 months before trying for additional line
complaining probably won’t do anything anyway as they will probably just
get less customers with bad credit as possible what I think but I
understand what you mean about the experience with other guides it’s
shocking Ee horrible network
Amazing I have bad credit and can’t have additional line so wasn’t wiser

Yes it is mate you just have good credit or be able to have additional line
I only have 2 lines on account too x

Done exactly to me, I cancelled order myself with ee and they told me 24 hours they did a web form, and it’s come back now I can’t have one even tho the order I did was ‘ on track’ and ‘confirmed’ so I have to wait 3-6monrgs now for my account to build up its absolutely shocking, enjoy your phones guys 🥹

I know it really is a joke hun. Why is lol just why haha. Then for us to
say no when cancelling why order in the first place if they knew we
couldn’t have one
