Hello everyone in the ee community it’s that time again of the year placing and tracking the new iPhone 16 and 16 pro max’s orders and especially since a few years with delay issues with ee 😂 and then ringing them up and patiently waiting for that DPD notification I love this time of the year, so everyone I have created this thread and everyone stay posted in this thread don’t follow any other thread keep this one running guys if we keep each other updated then hopefully we get the iPhone this year on time on release day.
Yeah I’ve got a £30 add on, however after looking into to it, it’s the Beats Studio pro I ordered in February, it’s still live till Feb 2025, so I can only presume yours is something you’ve previously ordered and are still paying off?
So this confirms that I didn’t have any insurance taken out so I guess it’s free. Will wait and see I guess. The poor call centre will no doubt be very busy today.
That’s what I was told I was told I could not have my upgrade anytime plan for next year anymore I had to go onto flexi plan instead so back to 2 year contract gutted 😞 it took nearly 5 hours to upgrade my phone only to speak to an team leader / supervisor to get one upgraded I upgraded from iPhone 15 pro max to iPhone 16 pro max in desert gold colour 512gb only to be told that my delivery will take 28 days gutted I always get my phone on launch day so I won’t get my phone until October but the lovely lady did put an note on the account to say to speed up my delivery of my phone and she also gave me free phone case and screen protector so I was messed about by some EE agents but the supervisor redeemed my trust in EE again I have been with them for over 10 years ❤️
Bull they do have anytime upgrade plans my advisor asked me on the phone do I want to keep on the anytime upgrade plan or go on to a flex plan I would be ringing them cos they do it’s still offered but it won’t show in website tho
I’m in a similar situation. Ordered the 16 PM and received a text this morning I have until 29/09 to return my current phone. Problem is I leave to go on holiday 22/09 and don’t return till 03/10 guess I’ll just have to wait and see.
Sorry to hear this! I had the same issue, however I was firm on reminding them of the ‘miss-selling’ issue with delivery dates last year and that my upgrade which came 6 weeks after release date wasn’t down to me but their agents actively lying about the delivery being guaranteed on release day in order to secure the upgrade for their targets and then EE remaining silent after with customers complaining about the issue! I also had pre-ordered the AWU2 Satin Black so threatened to cancel that order too! They waviered the £100 fee! Sometimes you have to be firm with them but also be clear in yourself if you don’t get what you want be prepared to leave it and not upgrade or if your happy too - wait.
Just an quick reminder for everyone that are in anytime upgrade EE have changed and small clause into this meaning that if you have pre ordered any iPhone or device this year or this month you will have to wait exactly an year time to upgrade again if you do any upgrade before that time you will have to pay an bit extra quids then.
