Iphone 16 pro- 16 pro max pre order thread/that time of the year again

Hello everyone in the ee community it’s that time again of the year placing and tracking the new iPhone 16 and 16 pro max’s orders and especially since a few years with delay issues with ee 😂 and then ringing them up and patiently waiting for that DPD notification I love this time of the year, so everyone I have created this thread and everyone stay posted in this thread don’t follow any other thread keep this one running guys if we keep each other updated then hopefully we get the iPhone this year on time on release day.

Was told today on the phone my order was picked, so hopefully will see something tonight or tomorrow 🤞🏻

I received an update saying estimated delivery date 20th of September which it didn’t say before and 3 EE messages saying that my new plan is activated.

Haven’t received anything yet, but just looking on the EE app and it now says my 15pro max is closed and fully paid off, maybe this is the start?

I ordered at 1:28pm online and got an email saying order confirmed. So I phoned up on Wednesday and asked them to check my account and it turns out the order did not go through. I had do the order again and now im at the back of the queue. Might of been because I was trying to upgrade my phone online when in the past I have only ever taken out a SIM card with ee and never a phone before.

It’s a nonsense that you get a confirmation email only to be told your order hasn’t gone through. What’s shambles. I worry that’s what’s happened to me but hoping I get the DPD text before I need to phone and chase them up.

Latest Update

i ordered directly from Apple on 13th. Completed pre order checkout with PM 1TB White by 13:04  = Delivery tomorrow according to Apple account. Second phone I ordered and completed pre order checkout was PM 1TB black at 13:08 and delivery estimated between 25th - 30th Sept

grrr cmon Apple.  13:08 completed pre order checkout which I think is very good and my phone may be delayed a week. How can this be !!!!!
