Hi i upgraded both my contracts to the IPhone 17 Pro 1TB on the 28/02/26. I was told it would be up to 21 days but received a text message today stating they have an estimated date for delivery. I call up 150 and was told these texts were incorrect and that they were expecting stock within 24/48 hours?
How can they give incorrect information and not take ownership of their mistake. I want to know how long I will be actually waiting as if I ordered the phone off Apples website it would be here by Monday. I have been with EE over 12 years and they treat loyal customers like dirt.
Can someone actually be helpful and give the correct information regarding waiting times?

Hi @sgillick16
Thanks for coming back to the community.
Once your order has been dispatched, you will receive tracking details from DPD for the delivery.
Leanne.

I upgraded my 2 phone numbers to a IPhone 17 pro 1tb. I was told originally they would be here in 7 days. I phoned up 150 and was told 21 days. I have called up several times and told I will get my phone this week but we are now on day 14. Why do EE give wrong information out all the time.
Anyone else having this type of issue?

Hi @sgillick16,
Welcome back to the Community!
We know how important it is for you to know what is happening with your order, so I'm sorry to hear about this confusion.
Could you confirm what colour phones you've ordered, so I can check the stock tables for you?
Rach

I cancelled my order a week ago ago and put in my 30 days notice. Over a decade with EE but I’ve gone to Tesco mobile. It’s not even about the phone being out of stock, it’s about the experience and the continual wrong info on each call. On my last call the agency called me ‘darling’ and had music on on the background. I was trying to disconnect and he was determined to sell me broadband, even when I categorically told him not to do that and not to give me a price. He did it anyway. So glad I’ve disconnected.

I hope you've tested O2's service in the areas you frequent, first. That isn't a move I could imagine many people making for reasons of network quality.
Be aware if you want to port your number, you will need to cancel the disconnection notice.

I didn’t want to port the number. I’m very aware that I can do that but I didn’t want anything lore to do with EE and I knew they’d manage to **bleep** that up too so took a clean break. I’m on my o2 phone now and very happy with Tesco. No issues with signal, especially as I’m all data and WiFi. EE was very poor here anyway, and everywhere else.

Good luck to you, but I can assure you that EE is not "very poor everywhere" as you suggest. Quite the opposite if anything!
WiFi & mobile data use different technologies, in-case you're not aware. There's a reason why O2 promote WiFi so much.

It is terrible everywhere I go…..
Thanks for talking to me like I’m a complete idiot. I obviously understand the difference between data and WiFi and I was making the point that barely use a telephone signal.
Seems the customers are as bad as the ‘guides’.
Lovely that a mobile network means so much to you!

In which case you're either extremely unlucky with finding all of EE's poor coverage areas, or the issue lies elsewhere.

There is a wide variety of expertise & skills levels on this forum, and many inexperienced users don't understand some of these nuances. "Obviously I understand" is never something that can be taken for granted.
