Hi. I did an order today for the new iPhone. It asked some questions about my credit file (security questions), and then I made a £300 upfront payment (this was optional, i chose to pay this amount upfront to reduce monthly payments). It said the payment wouldn't be taken until the order was processed. The payment was taken instantly.
During the order, I had to answer questions about my credit file, such as what is my bank and when did I open it.
I received the order confirmation email.
Does this mean I've passed the credit check?

Hello @devmatters0161 ,
Welcome to the community,
The upfront payment should be pending until the device is dispatched.
If you would not have passed the credit check, you would receive notification that the order had been cancelled and the upfront payment will be released back into your account within 7 days, this is down to the banks, not EE for releasing the funds sooner, by the way.
I would also advise downloading the DPD app, as you will receive notification of delivery the day before and another one on the day of delivery with a one hour window and a PIN number, which you show the driver before receiving the device.

When your order is processed. Until dispatch it could be cancelled.
Thanks
