Hi all, I am looking to upgrade to a sim only deal, and in order for me to do this, DPD need to send a pin to the mobile number on my EE profile but that is my old number which I no longer have access to. Any ideas on how else I can receive this ?

Hi @James-92

If you are just moving to a SIM Only deal, you shouldn't need a DPD PIN, as you'd either keep the SIM you have now, or if one is sent it would just be by Royal Mail.

The DPD PIN would normally be for device deliveries only.

@James-92  When did you last use that number?  If it’s over 9 months then unfortunately there’s nothing you can do to get that number back.      Why not keep your EE account up to date with the correct number?

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

I used that number when I had an IPhone 7  before I went onto a contract with EE and I didn't  update my number on my profile. I will have to figure out another way. thanks for your reply.

Thank you, one question I wanna ask , on my EE profile page my contact number is my old mobile number which I wanna update to my current mobile number but due to security the only way I can do this is by EE sending a passcode to my existing number, which I don't have access too any ideas?

Kind regards

James

@James-92  If you no longer have access to the number that is listed, the best option would be to give our customer service guides a call, and they can bring up your account to see if they can amend the number for you

Good morning Michael,

Have a great Xmas
